His Promise (To his Lil Princess)
This is a short heart touching poem.
It speaks of a dad's promise to his little Princess.
My dear girl,
You are precious
Like the pearls.
I know
You wail
To see me.
But,
I cannot
Come back.
I feel blue
When you
Cry for me.
My baby
Has grown up
And is pretty.
When you wish
To see me,
Just look up.
You will find
Me among
The stars.
And,
It is a
Promise forever.
